The Lake Erie Crushers will host a School Day Game on Wednesday, May 26 at 10:35 a.m. All schools will be offered Home Box tickets at a discounted price of $5 (normally $9) and have the option to purchase a $5 food voucher which will include a hot dog, bag of Ballreich's chips, and soda. The discounted price will help reduce the price for the students and help the school arrange transportation to the game. The public address announcer will be busy because every school that attends the game will be recognized over the stadium's P.A. system. The School Day field trip is a nice way to end the school year and reward students for another successful year in school.

Curriculum Program

Baseball is a great sport, but it can also be a great tool for learning and education. Mathematics, science, social studies and language arts are all subjects that have a heavy influence on baseball. The Crushers Curriculum program offers ideas on how to incorporate baseball into the student's learning experience. Teaching through baseball can be exciting, fun and a unique way to keep students interested and engaged in learning. The ideas and methods provided within the Crushers Curriculum not only provide an enjoyable method of learning, but can also be used to prepare students for the School Day field trip to the stadium.
