Cinadr Added to All-Star Roster

AVON, Ohio —The Frontier League announced Wednesday that Lake Erie Crushers relief pitcher Jeff Cinadr has been added to the 2010 East Division All-Star Roster by field manager Gera Alvarez.

Cinadr, along with two Oakland County Cruisers, first baseman Joash Brodin and pitcher Adam Dominick, were the three manager’s choices for the final All Star roster spots.

The 6’6 right-hander out of Lewsville, Texas is 1-1 with a 1.93 ERA, 22 strikeouts and three saves over 32.2 innings thus far in 2010. In his 19 appearances, Cinadr has allowed earned runs in just three of them and has yet to surrender an earned run at home.

Prior to joining the Crushers, Cinadr played 2009 in the Tampa Bay Rays system and spent four years at the University of Toledo where he set the single-season school record for appearances in 2009 with 30, while also earning a degree in bio engineering.

The three-day All-Star event at the home of the Southern Illinois Miners begins on July 12 with the All Star Concert. July 13 features a home run derby and celebrity softball game while the game itself is on July 14.

The Lake Erie Crushers, the 2009 Frontier League Champions, play ball at All Pro Freight Stadium located in Avon, OH. Beginning in 2010, All Pro Freight Stadium is also home to the Cleveland State University baseball team.
