“2010 Frontier League Champions to broadcast Sunday home games on AM 930 WEOL” Avon, OH—The Lake Erie Crushers’ game broadcast has found a new home. Starting this season, fans will be able to tune-in to AM 930 WEOL to follow the team live during every Sunday home game. The team plays ten regular season home games this season at All Pro Freight Stadium. The Crushers acquired a large following in their story book inaugural season. The team battled throughout the summer for a place in the playoffs and ultimately captured the Frontier League Championship. In their first season, the team broadcasted all 96 games regular season games and ten playoff games on SportJuice.com. The webcast’s listener base grew throughout the season, peaking during the Championship game in River City. “We are very excited to expand our partnership with WEOL,” said General Manager Ryan Gates. “Not only are they great people to work with, they are leaders throughout Lorain County and the region who genuinely care about providing the best coverage possible for our local teams at the high school, college and professional level. Together these stations cover eight counties with a population of two million consumers with more than 300,000 weekly listeners. WEOL covers the Cleveland Indians, the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Columbus Blue Jackets, Fox Sport Radio, as well as local high school football, basketball, baseball and softball. The Lake Erie Crushers, the 2009 Frontier League Champions, play ball at All Pro Freight Stadium located in Avon, OH. Beginning in 2010, All Pro Freight Stadium will also be home to the Cleveland State University baseball team.
