“Opening Day and single game tickets go on sale at 9:00 a.m.”

Avon, OH – The wait is over. May 21st, Opening Day tickets as well as all single game tickets for the Lake Erie Crushers 2010 season will go on sale this Saturday, April 24 at 9:00 a.m. at All Pro Freight Stadium. Phone and online ticket orders will only be available after 12:00 p.m.

“Baseball season is right around the corner and we are looking forward to welcoming fans back to the ballpark to cheer on the Crushers as we defend our Frontier League Championship,” said General Manager Ryan Gates. “Last year, Opening Day tickets sold out by noon and with a successful first year under our belt we expect tickets to move even faster this year. We recommend fans visit to the ballpark early for the opportunity to purchase their ticket for the May 21st Opening Day celebration.”

To guarantee yourself a ticket to Opening Day before Saturday fans can still purchase a Crushers 12-game mini-plan ticket package for just $99 which includes the opportunity to purchase Opening Day and the 3rd and 4th of July tickets before they go on sale to the general public.

In addition to purchasing tickets, fans can also enjoy a variety of activities inside the ballpark at the team’s Fan Fest. Fans can tour the ballpark, enjoy a hotdog, explore the Kids Zone or even play catch on the field. Crushers players and the team’s mascot Stomper will be on hand for autographs. For those late arrivers Saturday, the Cleveland State Vikings will take the field at noon versus Butler.
