Grizzlies Hand Crushers 5-4 Loss
AVON, Ohio - The Lake Erie Crushers dropped the final game of a three game series against the Gateway Grizzlies by a score of 5-4 at All Pro Freight Stadium. The Lake Erie Crushers record now stands at 7-14.

Eric Gonzalez-Diaz started for the Crushers, and went 6.0 innings while allowing six strikeouts and three earned runs. Gonzalez-Diaz was handed a no-decision in the loss.

Jonathan Kountis was the pitcher of record for Lake Erie, and his record fell to 0-1. Kountis went for 1.0 inning, which was good for one earned run and one walk issued.

Adrian Ortiz collected a pair of base hits and also scored one run. Kellen Kulbacki drilled a home run to right field, and drove in three runs.

Lake Erie will continue the home stand Monday, when they will take on the Washington Wild Things for a three game set. Game time is 7:05 p.m. with gates opening up an hour prior to the first pitch.
