Who LOVES to read? STOMPER DOES!!

Stomper’s Reading Club is a community outreach program designed to connect our team with local schools and encourage literacy development in Lorain County. Students K-8 are challenged to “crush” their reading goals to earn prizes redeemable during the Lake Erie Crushers baseball season. Each student who completes the program this year will receive two 2024 Crushers ticket vouchers!

Registration is closed for Stomper’s Reading Club visits this year. If your school would like to participate in the future, please reach out to Mackenzie at mjameson@lakeeriecrushers.com to join the outreach list.

For Participating Students

Stomper’s Reading Club is run through participating local schools. Please return your completed bookmark to your child’s school, by the deadline set by your child’s school. If you have questions, please contact your child’s teacher, librarian, or the school’s main office.
Bookmarks should NOT be returned to the local libraries or the Crushers front office. Prizes will be distributed directly to students through their school in April.
Prizes include physical ticket vouchers, a physical coupon, and a link to RSVP for the High Five Tunnel or Home Run Readers Parade. The bookmark itself cannot be brought to the stadium and redeemed for these prizes on gameday. Please make sure the bookmark is turned in to your school by the appropriate deadline in order to receive your prize!

Need fun, new reading material to complete the challenge? Visit any of these sponsoring library locations!
