Taylor joins the Crushers with an extensive professional record starting with his 2nd round draft pick to the Kansas City Royals in the 2006 MLB June Amateur Draft.

From 2006-2010, Taylor played for several rookie, single A and single A+ level teams for the Royals.  In his best season, 2008, Taylor hit .242 with 17 home runs and 105 hits playing for the single A Royals team, Burlington Bees.

In his four seasons of professional baseball prior to joining the Crushers, Taylor had a batting average of .259, 166 RBI's and 304 hits.
