Ben Klafczynski is set to begin his first season as a member of the Lake Erie Crushers. Klafczynski spent the 2011 season with the Boise Hawks and Peoria Chiefs in the Chicago Cubs organization. The native of Granger Township, Ohio played in 62 games, while recording a triple, five doubles, and 14 runs scored. Despite his hitting prowess, Klafczynski is expected to join the Crushers’ pitching staff.
