Alex Loftin joins the Lake Erie Crushers after spending three years with the University of Akron. Loftin made 11 starts for Akron last season, which spanned 75.0 innings pitched good for a 3.12 ERA and 50 strikeouts. The Stow, Ohio native also pitched for Stow High School while attending the school. Loftin is a welcome addition to the Lake Erie pitching staff, and is expected to bolster an already strong group of pitchers.
