Pat Arnold is set to join the Lake Erie Crushers following a release from the Gateway Grizzlies. The Huntington, W. Va. native was originally
drafted by the Washington Nationals in the 2007 Major League Baseball Amateur
Draft. Over five seasons in the Nationals organization, he tossed 215.1 innings
with 228 strikeouts. Arnold also averaged a 4.49 earned run average throughout
his time with the Nationals organization. This season with the Grizzlies,
Arnold pitched 31.2 innings while allowing 18 earned runs and struck out 18 batters.
