Kyle Weldon is set to begin his first season as a member of the Lake Erie Crushers after spending three years playing baseball for Miami University. In 2010, Weldon was the only Miami Redhawk to play in all of their 56 games, while starting 52 games. The Mason, Ohio native registered  a .318 batting average with 53 RBI and eight home runs. The infielder is expected to be a strong contributor in his first season with the Crushers and is anticipated to play in the infield.
