Russell Moldenhauer is set to begin his first season as a member of the Lake Erie Crushers. Moldenhauer split the 2011 season between the Auburn Doubledays and the Hagerstown Suns, as a player in the Washington Nationals organization. Last season, the Boerne, Texas native combined at both teams to record a .267 batting average along with five homers and 33 RBI. Moldenhauer is expected to be a strong contributor to the Crushers’ lineup and play efficient defense up the middle.
