Thank You to Our Fans

Greetings Crushers Fans:

Wow...what a season!  The 2018 Crushers season is officially in the books, and what a year it has been.  We missed the Frontier League Playoffs by 1 game....1 stinking game! But it was still a memorable Summer at Sprenger Healthcare Stadium.

  • We won 50 games, and our final game of the season, a 10-4 victory over the Washington Wild Things, represented the 500th win in Lake Erie Crushers history.
  • We sent two of our Players on to big league organizations with Dalton Geekie signing with the Chicago Cubs and Dane Hutcheon signing with our very own Cleveland Indians.
  • Our 2nd Baseman Aaron Hill was an All-Star and named the Frontier League Rookie of the Year.
  • Our Bench Coach Emmanuel Quiles was named Coach of the Year for the Frontier League.
  • And finally, the Lake Erie Crushers were named the 2018 Frontier League Organization of the Year!

Jacqueline and I would like to thank our Front Office and Seasonal Staffs' for all of their hard work this summer. They make all of the great times at Sprenger Stadium possible, and we can't thank them enough for how awesome they are.

But most of all we want to thank you, the Crushers Fans, for all of your support during the 2018 campaign.  We had a great season, and we hope you had a lot of fun at the ballpark this summer. We are already working on making 2019 even bigger and better than ever, and we won't stop working until we bring that Frontier League Championship back to Avon.

Thank you all for 2018, we hope you have a great off-season and Go Crushers!

Jacqueline & Tom Kramig
